During these uncertain times for everyone, we want to reassure you that the health and well-being of our guests and staff are our top priority. As we do every day while running the Ottawa river, we are navigating this situation with great care, and we are learning and adapting at each bend.
Wilderness Tours Adventure
resort is located in isolated outdoor environment, our facility is away
from highly populated areas in Ontario. (We are located 1.5hrs
west of the city of Ottawa and 4.5hrs North East of Toronto/GTA).
What we are
doing:
We are taking every precaution as necessary
to ensure your health and safety during your stay with us.
Rafting Trips
We will be enhancing our cleaning protocols throughout
our entire raft trip, from start to finish. All wetsuits, helmets, and personal
flotation devices (PFDs) are thoroughly sanitized after each trip. We are requiring a minimum of 4 per group for all of our regular rafting tours as each group will be in their own raft. Our specialized Guide Your Own Sportyak is available for groups of 1-3, it is a 2 person raft that goes down the middle channel and is open to anyone 12 or older and 90lbs or more.
Resort & Restaurant
We will be enhancing our cleaning protocols throughout our property with our housekeeping for cabins and at our the Pavilion where food service is going to take place. As always proper food processes will be in place to ensure the safest handing of all food and beverages. It does mean our famous all you can eat segment of the meal will not be available but here is still a hearty meal at breakfast, lunch and dinner with kid friendly options.
Hand sanitizer is available at various locations on the resort.
Accommodations
Accommodations are thoroughly cleaned after
each stay. We will be enhancing our cleaning protocols throughout our property as
well as our accommodations. We have moved to additional disinfecting equipment including a fogging machine with a non-toxic cleaning product.
Moving Forward
We will continue to encourage
all staff and guests to wash hands often with soap and water, and scrub for 20
seconds. We believe that we are healthiest when we can be outside, and we urge
you to all find a peace and comfort whenever you can.
As the snow and ice begins to
melt here in the Ottawa Valley, we look forward to seeing you this summer and
sharing the magic of white water.

Joe, Joel & Katie Kowalski
