Why Wilderness Tours?
At the tender age of 27, owner Joe Kowalski talked me into it! I knew nothing about the river, other than I knew how to swim!  But a summer of learning has turned into 20 years of rafting and trip leading on the Ottawa with some of the most talented people in the world!  I cant leave! I will probably die here!

Best memory:
Too many to nail down.....have had the most fun with some amazing people!

Best story:
Although there are countless big rafting stories that I like to tell......Last summer brought my 14 year old daughter along on a sport rafting trip, At Coliseum we flipped that 6 man raft, and a 12 man, and after swimming the rapids like a seasoned professional whilst I stood panting on the shore from my second flip....she ran back up to the top of the Coliseum to run it just one more time! I have never been more proud in all of my life!!!
