Why Wilderness Tours?
It's all I wanted to do during the summers after being a part of the OKS (Ottawa Kayak School) Keener Program, and learning about the magic of whitewater! The Ottawa River is an ideal place to kayak, raft, and meet awesome people. Having learned how to kayak through OKS, the choice was obvious.
Best Memory:
The first day I guided my own raft; I successfully ran high water Coliseum. I had a huge smile on my face and my awesome crew applauded at the end! It was fantastic.
Best Story:
I guided my parents and brother down the river in a raft one day. My mom fell out as we went through Phil’s Hole on McCoy’s Rapid. Good times. (Sorry mom!)
Favorite Joke:
Why is the Ottawa River so rich? Because it has two banks!!
Hobbies/Interests:
Kayaking, rock climbing, skiing, and travel. Sharing those experiences with fun and adventurous people makes it even better!
