We always knew there was great fishing in the deep channels of the Ottawa River. Isolated and with no public access, infinite islands, and big pooling eddys beneath rapids, the Ottawa is a perfect fishery. Due to the rapids and the rocky nature of the river, traditional fishing boats are not an option to access the hot spots. At Wilderness Tours we are introducing the world Kayak Fishing. With speciality kayaks made by Jackson Kayak, these boats are stable but river worthy, taking you to places no one else can get to. This wonderful fishing program is "catch and release" and guests have their chances at landing world class Bass, mammoth Walleye, and hard charging Pike.
