Adults 18+ get offered our most popular beginner kayak program as the best way to introduce yourself to the world and culture of whitewater. Beginners and novices spend 5 days progressing at a comfortable pace from flat water strokes and concepts to running class 1-3 whitewater.

All of our beginner kayakers begin by being outfitted with the best whitewater kayak gear in the industry.  We don't give our students any gear we don't paddle ourselves.  Jackson Kayaks, Werner Paddles, Immersion Research spray skirts, Sweet Protection helmets and Kokatat PFD's round out our rental fleet which is turned over annually so it's always the latest and greatest. 

Once fitted with the best gear we take our students to our beautiful sandy beach to learn all the strokes and concepts.  Combine that with the deep and safe waters of the Ottawa River's Middle Channel and you have a great recipe for an exceptional first whitewater kayaking experience.
