Wilderness Tours is famous for youth development through kayaking. This specially designed resident program is geared to ages 12-17 and might just be a life changing experience for your child. Just drop your teen off for the week and we will watch over them!

Our Teen Kayak School is the perfect day camp for your active child.  You can also combine it with any of our week long programs and the whole family can have an adventure on the Ottawa River.

The Teen Kayak Camp is the first step on the road to good summer jobs as river guides and kayak instructors. Successful graduates of the Teen Kayak Camp are eligible to enroll in WT’s world famous Keener Program.

Includes:
  • kayak and equipment rental
  • 5 days of kayaking instruction

  • 14 meals from Monday breakfast through Friday lunch

This year we are adding an Int/Adv option for Teen Campers who have done the class previously or those that have been kayaking on their own and are more advanced with a roll in both flat and whitewater. Please contact us at 1-888-723-8669 for more information on this option.
